Illustrations on commission for Esra Ersen’s videoart work for the Istanbul Biennial 2015
In Esra’s video-collage, illustrations and archive images merge together to create “A Possible History”, a turkish history based on collective imaginary and the childhood recollections of “E”.
My duty was to recreate some of those memories with objective & realistic drawings.
