Cover-illustrations for the Exposé “Liza Ruft!”
Liza Ruft was a Documentary project about the partisan resistance during the Second World War in Lithuania.
The partisans had to hide in the cold, dark winter forests in order to survive, that’s why it played a main role during the war, and why I used it as the principal element of the covers of the booklet.
I’m happy that the group of filmmakers and historians behind the documentary became the founding money they needed to produce it.
As they say: “the first ever portrait of a Jewish woman partisan” was about to be realized.
